Pearson F. Klein, M.A., BCBA, LBA., hails from McAllen, Texas. He graduated from James "Nikki" Rowe High school in 2001. He then attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL beginning in the summer of 2001. He graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Child Development. After some twists and turns while determining his professional pathway, he returned to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas to complete his masters degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Texas-Pan American and graduated in 2010. He earned his Applied Behavior Analysis board certification in 2012 under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
Pearson received many therapies as a child given he was not able to talk until the age of five and had multiple sensory processing issues. It is highly likely that these diagnoses and symptoms would fit into modern Autism Spectrum Disorder.
He does not have any recollection of the many therapies he received as a child, but realized the time and sacrifice that many professionals put into him to help him acheive his full potential.
He believes that now it is his turn to give back, by helping other children and adults with similar disabilities, have their best chance at success. This is what fuels his passion everyday!
Pearson will always be thankful to his mother, who he considers his greatest inspiration, his wife Leslie for always keeping him on his toes and teaching him something new everyday, and Dr. Frederick Ernst who fueled his passion for the profession of Applied Behavior Analysis.
